S3- E24 Jared Schachter: Breaking free from the 9 to 5 job grind

Are you tired of your 9 to 5 job? Do you wish you could break free and do something else? This week my guest is Jared Schachter. Jared is an entrepreneur, investor, and remote worker. He started his career as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company after which he spent a couple of years at Uber where he led their global accessibility program from the San Francisco headquarters. After getting tired of large organizations and the 9-5 grind, he decided to branch off and do his own freelance consulting and that led him to his ideal job. Today’s episode is a bit different because I don’t have a guest. The reason for that is because I wanted to dedicate this episode to travel, which will be a big theme next month. Traveling is difficult to do right now, especially internationally but that shouldn’t stop my fellow travelers from getting inspired about the next trip. So this week, I am sharing five of my top travel apps and resources that are making me excited about packing my suitcase.

I am so excited to have him on the show and appreciate him taking the time out of his very busy schedule. The Launch Music Awards (LMA) is taking place this Labor Day weekend and will be a can’t miss event! The super-star packed award show will honor the late Betty Wright, Flo Rida, Pitbull, DJ Khaled, Inner Circle, and 2 Live Crew. She was a General Accountant, Licensed Insurance Adjuster, Marketing Manager, Logistic Manager, and Purchasing Manager.
